Does anyone else find anything snooty about people who drink gin?

Nope... My boyfriend drinks gin and tonics and is about the least snooty person I know. Same with one of my favorite Anthropology professors at Iowa State. He drank gin and was not snooty at all

No, no, no I refering to a joke with a friend... never ment to be ofensive:) I used to enjoy the occasional gin and tonic as well!
