Dear Internet, Please Help
Dear Internet,
I need to get some writing done for a new website my friend is involved in. I won't mention the website now because it has yet to launch but it sounds like a cool group of writers, writing cool things. So here is what I need an essay on "Something I love to hate, or hate to love." Me being me has a hard time writing off prompts. I have been wracking my brain for weeks and have only come up with
1. Reality T.V. (which I think is WAY over done, we all know it sucks and yet we all watch it)
2. Stupid People -because really they make life more entertaining ( But I think I would come across as egotistical because dang we all know I can have a case of the stupids as well)
3. Facebook- because it wastes too much of my time...
Now internet please tell me to help get my brain rolling... what is something you love to hate, or hate to love?

men, women, junk food, credit cards, jobs, smoking laws, drinking, people who ride their bikes in the middle of the road so you can't go around them, people who keep rodents as pets, George Bush, bridezillas, TMZ...
I don't get it... you left an anon comment and unless you are Michelle or Steph (which they would have identified themselves) we would TOTALLY be best friends based on what you just posted!!!!
And then I didn't realize i was on "Thomas's" -the boyfriend's account when I replied to the last comment!
Girl you've got Paralysis by Analysis going on. Sit your ass down and just write about whatever topic you pick!!!! You don't have to make it good the first time, just get your thoughts out and then rework them so they are better. If I had a topic to pick this morning it would be What moron at the local grocery thought that lemon curd was a good filling choice for a chocolate glazed bismarck.
i know something you love to hate - your boyfriend's suggestions for things to write about. so i will just keep my mouth shut.

Okay, I will stir up the pot. I dilike a-holes who ride in the middle of the road going snails pace... I am totally respectful of any biker who wants to use the lane and ride at a reasonable speed and uses signals. I am all for those people getting exercise )while I fatten up sitting in my car watching them bust their ass in front of me) and doing a little to save the environment. I am by far not a granola type but I do respect those that make those type of choices and will be cautious around them to ensure their safety. So I know, I know Katie's page is not the most welcoming place for my love of this issue but... bring it on if you all have something to say about it. I can brawl if I have to. I have man arms you know.
So, my contribution of love to hate..... UFC. What a rotten way for our world to expose kids to "sports." Disgusting, I hate it.

I especially love the people who ride in the middle of the road because they have the "right" to, however, they feel they don't have to follow the street laws, like stop at stop signs, etc.
What's worse than bicyclists who hog the road are walkers who hog the road when there's a perfectly good sidewalk five feet away.
